The punk dress code originated in the late 70's influenced by bands such as the Sex Pistols and Ramones , the youth of the streets, and designers bringing it to the forefront such as Vivienne Westwood and Zandra Rhodes. Though it has evolved and subdivided into categories;everything from glam-punk to goth-punk, the punk style has remained constant influence in the way we dress today. It is a reminder to us, that holds true to the basic premise of fashion which is to be individual. In pushing fashion forward, the designers have rolled out evolutionary punk designs for this Spring/ Summer 2011 season.
