Get Medieval! Snow White and the Huntsman

I guess I went through a writer's block last month which accounts for my lack of posts. Life happens, and s**! gets in the way and makes your mind feel like mush. Hence, my creative drive to write was parked on a cul-de-sac and now I'm back banging the keys.
Today, Snow White and the Huntsman lands in theaters and I can't wait to see it. I'm not sure that I will be amongst the crowd this weekend, people tend to get chatty in theater on opening weekend. I like going to the movies on an off day; then, I can enjoy the movie in peace and feel like I'm in my own home theater.
For this much anticipated film; I will be closely watching for the costume designs, for I like the medieval period. In this movie, the costumes worn by Snow White played by Kristen Stewart, seem to marry two characters Joan of Arc with Snow White. And the Evil Queen's attire, paraded by Charlize Theron appear to have reference from Alexander McQueen and Gareth Pugh's  collections. I can't wait to see the Evil Queen's feathers ruffle and be taken on a costume adventure of a film!

  3. I saw Snow White and the Huntsman and I must say it is one of my favorite films of the year. I was taken by the special effects as well as the costumes worn by Charlize Theron and how the outfits empowered her character's mood in the film.
