Earth Day 2013- Go green in fashion, beauty, and home

For Earth Day 2013, I decided to feature some sustainable items for beauty, fashion, and home. According to the Christian Science Monitor, Americans are far less eco conscious than they were in 1971. Has the digital age taken over our concern for the resources that will be available for the future? I know I have to do my part more than just buying toothpaste and eco-friendly lip balm. On a fashion note, I hope that more designers and retailers will make more affordable sustainable fashions. As society becomes more eco conscious there are ways we each can contribute to making the world more sustainable.  Just think if every person makes a step in doing one thing or making that one move, it will be a step in the right direction towards saving the planet, it will make a large effect for future generations.
