buttaflybytes buzz : Academy of Country Music Awards 2011-Red Carpet Review

As country music celebs rolled up in Ram tough trucks to strut their stuff down the red carpet of the MGM Grand Las Vegas. Stars came and rocked the runway others and some were just plain roadkill. Although I don't consider myself an avid country music listener, doesn't mean I can leave fashion at the wayside. I will be cheering for favorites Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and The Band Perry. I must say the broadcast was more of a concert than an award show which held my interest for it was like a non-stop party. Country strong performances on stage by Dierks Bentley, Sugarland, Keith Urban, and Eric Church to name a few. Into the mix were surprising duet performances by Rhianna and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland plus Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood. (It was too funny how she avoided kissing Steven when singing "Walk This Way"). I could carry on and on with positive notes about this show-it was a thoroughly entertainment filled award show.
